From time to time, something happens that doesn’t fit neatly into categories like race reviews, field projects, or essays — but still deserves explanation.

A friend of the site, Jake, who works with Spartan, recently offered a race code — JAKE30 — that provides 30% off most Spartan races (excluding endurance events such as Ultra, Hurricane Heat, and Death Race). He extended it simply because he appreciates what this site is trying to do and wanted to support the community around it.
